Situated in the county of Kent in the South east corner of England, it is bordering London, Sussex and Surrey, It is often referred to as ‘The Garden’ of England. The village of Manston in kent was originally called Mannestone which means 'farm on top of a hill' (there is also a possible alternative variation to this witch is a farm belonging to a man called Mann) and was recorded in 1254 as Manneston , but received it’s modern spelling of Manston in 1381 when details of the Peasants' Revolt where recorded.
