Shopping in Bristol has become a great thing with the redevelopment of the city centre Cabot Circus.

Bristol has over 1,006,000 residents. Briostols History is based around it s Docks, Port of Bristol was originally in the city centre before being moved to the Severn Estuary at Avonmouth Royal Portbury Dock. Also so Isambard Kingdom Brunel did some amzing things in Bristol with the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

The lovely City of Bath is just a short ride along the M4, with it's Roman history it is a must to visit. Home to the famous The Roman Baths and also the great University of Bath.

Church Cottage is a beautifully restored 400 year old stone cottage in the centre of this popular Polden Hill village. It is 7 miles from junction 23 on the M5 so provides very easy access to Bath, Bristol, Wells, Glastonbury, Clark’s Village, Exmoor, Millfield School, Cheddar and the Mendips. An excellent area for National Trust properties, country markets, bird watching, walking and cycling. The famous Starlings are on Shapwick Heath from November to February. Shapwick itself is a small rural community with a 1400c church.
